DIDACTIC PRESENTATIONS AND HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS

  • Become familiar with the anatomy of the extremities
  • List the basic components of extremity ultrasound techniques
  • Scan a subject using ultrasound and recognize major anatomical structures
  • Recognize common pathology of the musculoskeletal system as seen at ultrasound
  • Become familiar with ultrasound-guided interventional techniques

TARGET AUDIENCE

This course will be of interest to radiologists, ultrasound technologists, and others in fields related to the musculoskeletal system. Those without musculoskeletal ultrasound experience, as well as those wanting to refine skills are welcome.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR INTRODUCTORY AND INTERMEDIATE TRACKS

Each participant will be assigned to a Workshop Group, limited to 5 people per group. Hands-on interventional workshops require handling of needles, raw turkey, and pig feet.
* Independent scanning will be available Saturday – Tuesday afternoons
